BARE METAL
The body shell is fully stripped down, chemically stripped to bare metal and then cathodic dip painted (KTL), creating the ideal foundation for a fresh build. Every seam and panel is reworked with far greater precision than the original ever offered. The classic R107 silhouette is preserved but appears cleaner, sharper and technically refined to today’s top standards.
THE DRIVE TRAIN
The M113 V8 serves as the foundation of our powertrain, fully adapted in PROJECT 107 to the technology of the AMG C55. Engine, transmission, axles and all electronic systems are integrated as original and completely rebuilt. The result is a 400-hp power unit paired with all modern safety and control systems. Thanks to the full AMG integration the engine remains serviceable worldwide and merges the robustness of the M113 with the precision of current Mercedes diagnostics.
